Calling all poetry and writing lovers. Make a statement in any room with this framed poster printed on high-quality paper, with a partly glossy, partly matte finish. Contains original poem by writer Sally Meeson:
So I Wrote
I’d lived a life of mirth and moonbeams,
With a spirit full of sun.
Then found I’d wasted it on daydreams,
So I wrote.
I’d travelled far across the oceans,
To lands of pink and golden sands.
But then my wings got tired and broken,
So I wrote.
My body soared when it was dancing,
With a face charmed with a smile.
Then nature took what it had granted,
So I wrote.
I had a heart which longed for fireworks,
A head that waited for the spark.
It wasn’t to be how my life worked,
So I wrote.
